“ Small but mighty!!! Quick and fast Chinese food. Good food and great quality! Price for what you get is amazing! They pile up the food so high that they can't even close the container! The place is small but the food they give you is worth the hype! It is crazy busy but the line goes fast. The food is constantly coming out fresh. Run and don't walk to get here to try this place out. I hope they never change the quality of their food and the amount they give out. It's definitely a place I would drive 45 minutes again cause it's that freaking amazing! ”
“ If you had to ask me if I prefer this place or Panda Express, I would say this place hands down. I came here at night a little bit before closing as I was looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat to go. I honestly never go to these fast chinese take out places UNLESS im in the SGV area. I just dont have any faith that the chinese restaurants in non predominantly chinese places are any good. I came in and there was only 1 customer before us, so I was a bit concerned. When it was my turn, the nice worker was patient as I tried to make my selections. I got the 2 item combo with the chow mien and the egg plant tofu with the orange chicken. As they are putting the food in the plate, they are just piling it in, so high that you can barely close it. For less than $15, what a deal! It was definitely enough to feed 2 people. Now was it good? Surprisingly yes! My wife even commented how the orange chicken breading wasn't overly thick and not drenched in sauce. The eggplant was also soft, flavorful, and had a good balance of eggplant to tofu ratio. Overall, this place is a great value and has good food with friendly service. If i was living near by I would consider coming back more often! ”
“ I stopped by Tn Hong Kong this past Fri, 11/22/2024 during my lunch break with my coworker. It was a totally spur-of-the-moment decision, but I'm so glad we tried this place! We ordered the following (prices as of Nov 2024): + 2 Item Combo w/ Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, BBQ chicken - $15.76 (we shared since this is more than enough for two people!) - Okay, so the TikTok videos regarding how much food they pack...is legit, lol. They pack it and fill your container to the brim - enough so that you can't even close the container! So anyways, the chow mein was pretty tasty, a little on the greasy side (come on it's chow mein) but the noodles were perfectly cooked, not soggy, and with a slight bite. It's actually one of the better chow meins that I've had for a while. They packed the orange chicken like CRAZY. My coworker and I got all excited because it's just so fun to see them adding heaping spoonfuls lol. Also, coincidentally, they had just refilled the orange chicken, so it was piping hot and a fresh batch. Now, this orange chicken was so delicious - perfectly crispy, not too sour, seasoned well, and so tasty! It was one of the best orange chickens I've had, and I definitely recommend it. Lastly, the BBQ chicken was also yummy! The chicken was moist, flavored enough, and not too salty. + 2 Item Combo w/ Chow Mein, Chashu, BBQ chicken - $15.76 - I ordered this for my husband, lol. The chow mein was still yummy (the guy who packed this order did not fill it as much as the girl). The BBQ chicken was still tasty, but they included a few super burnt pieces. The chashu was decent, but it was a little bland and not as juicy and dry. I would personally not recommend the chashu (compared to the orange chicken). Customer Service: The girl who helped us was so nice and friendly. Honestly, when you come to these types of Chinese fast-food restaurants, you don't expect much, but she was just so kind! She never made us feel rushed and had a cheerful manner! She definitely made the experience way better! Parking: Plenty of parking is available since the store is located in a big plaza. We didn't run into any issues! Overall, we are definitely coming back! :) Loved the heaping amounts of food, taste, and service! Great experience. ”
“ This place might of changed name but the service and quality is still the same! My go to Chinese take out spot. Come hungry because they pack tf out of the box! I usually get the 3 item combo. Chow mei, double orange chicken and beef and broccoli but the trick is all for the third item to be orange chicken so you get a large portion of the orange chicken and beef and broccoli. This feeds three adults easily! Inside has four tables to sit but I see people take to go and just eat on or in their cars. As long as they don't change their recipe or portion size I'll be a customer for life! ”
“ I've heard about the portions that are given here and had to give them a try I ordered the two item BBQ Pork and Orange Chicken.. Dang, the rice and chow mein already fills the box I got two giant slices of pork chopped up. The Orange Chicken didn't even fit. Half fell out and was in the bag. The lid didn't even close. They tie the bag to hold the lid down. That bag is placed inside another to carry. For normal people a 1 item combo will feed two. A 2 item can feed 3. The food is delicious and service is great. ”
“ Came here before closing so there weren't much left. I ordered 3 items and good thing it were dishes I liked. Had veggies, orange chicken and eggplant with chow mein noodles. They piled so much food on that the lid barely closed. It easily would've fed 2 persons. I really like the flavor of orange chicken but I have to say there's more batter than chicken. No complaints with veggies as I love veggies. Nothing overly salty. I rarely eat Chinese food as most are greasy but sometimes you crave it. I'll have to return to try other items. ”
“ I have been going to this Hong Kong Express ever since I was a child. They consistently have the best orange chicken you can get--crispy, saucy, super flavorful. The chow mein is also great, as are the stir fried vegetables, egg rolls, and fortune cookies. Now that I'm a vegetarian, my options are very limited. But I'll still tag along just to smell that chicken. If I had to knock off a star, it's really only because of the cramped seating (often because some tables are stacked with boxes/other materials) and cross contamination of the foods during the scooping process. They be STACKING your food on. However much you think you are ordering, double it. Maybe triple it if you go at the end of the day. ”
“ This is my favorite place to get Chinese food for over 10 years because of the quality of the food. I love their noodles and fried rice from here. I never get rice or fried rice eating out because I can make it better at home, but it is good here! Chinese food is definitely not made equal everywhere. My top choices are juicy and succulent bbq pork, orange chicken, tofu eggplant, spicy chicken wings, broccoli beef, and grilled teriyaki chicken. Service is fast, and if an item becomes unavailable, they ask if you want to wait this happens, usually the end of the day, and they always make more food to make customers happy, which is awesome! Just recently, I've seen this restaurant blow up on social media and kudos to them, but 10 years ago, they were always giving on portions and great food and great service. Same great everything! ”
“ When it comes to Chinese fast food, there are only a few good options, and most of them are chains. However, this place was a pleasant surprise. The portion sizes were impressive, and unlike other places where large portions mean a loss in flavor, this place was the exception. The flavor was good, especially the Orange Chicken, which is always fresh due to its popularity. The other dishes were also decent. Just know what you want when you get there, the people working there are great, but the line is typically long and they don't mess aground. The seating is limited so I suggest you take it home. Overall, I'm definitely coming back, it's a nice change from the usual chains. ”
